As of January 14, 2010, we were able to raise a partial gross amount of 58,419.75. As was promised, 50 percent of which will be given for the repair of our parish rectory (kumbento) and the remaining 50 percent will be used as ministry fund of our Parish Pastoral Council.

st. joseph parish welcomes 2010 with a great bang

The Solemn Eucharistic Celebration

the Holy Mass was presided over by our very own parish priest, Rev. Fr. Jojo Revidad and attended by hundreds of parishioners. In his homily, Fr. Jojo said that new year is a time of gratitude for all the blessings we have received from the Lord during the whole 2009. He asked everyone to learn how to see everything as blessings from the good God who would not give us otherwise.

Christmas Cheers and New Year Countdown

Two celebrations put into one wonderful program as our parish held Christmas Party and welcomed 2010 with cultural presentations, new year countdown, simultaneous fireworks and firecrackers display, raffle draw and dance party last December 31, 2009 11:00pm - January 01, 2010 at around 5am.

A hair-raising Production Number by Whale Shark Singers and the T dancers opened the program. WS singers sang O Holy Night.


Doxology by the Parish Youth Ministry: 'Tuloy na Tuloy ang Pasko' the program's main theme. The song together with MTV came from the original composition of UST Central Seminary


A Song Number by Ms. Nariel Joei 'NJ' Alejandre with the Whale Shark Band. NJ is Fr. Jojo's niece.

Dance Number from Donsol East Elementary School and...

the three dance presentations from the Donsol National Comprehensive High School Dance Troupe. The group was trained by Ms. Leslie Cadag and Ms. Linell Jacinto.

Unfortunately, there were some highlight scenes in the program that were not captured by the camera such as, the new year countdown, the New Year Toss of the Mr. Ed Sabalboro, the simultaneous fireworks and firecrackers display and the party after the program courtesy of the Whale Shark Band.
