Nine days novena started in our parish last December 16 as parishioners overflowed in the Church for the first day of Simbang Gabi. As early as three o'clock in the morning, people started coming to the church to anticipate the sudden flow of churchgoers.
Before the Mass, there was a short rite of blessing of Christmas belen and lanterns and the ceremony of lighting of Christmas light and raising the Christmas Parols by selected families and groups.

DisciplesFr. Jojo will not be the sole celebrant in the whole nine days of simbang gabi. Our parish is blessed to have no less than our diocese's chancellor, Rev. Fr. Antonio Lorilla, to celebrate the Mass on the 4th-6th days and our beloved bishop, Most Rev. Arturo M. Bastes on the 7th day which also be the installation of our new Parish Pastoral Council.

The Masses are sponsored by the different barangay officials around Donsol's poblacion and by some families.
After every mass, the H.O.M.E. (our little marians) sell tickets for our 'TULONG BARYA PARA SA PAROKYA' raffle promo, a fund raising project of the Parish Pastoral Council for the renovation of our parish rectory (kumbento) and for their ministry fund.
The parish would like to thank the Sponsoring barangays took charge of the breakfast for the church workers.
