Vocation to the Priesthood is a great blessing from God not only to the one being called and his family but also to the whole community who nurtured him. We, in St. Joseph Parish, are giving praise and thanks to God for the gift of vocation to the Priesthood He has given us here in Donsol. Rev. Rolie Richie Gomez, MSC, son of Mrs. Rose Gomez of Brgy. Bororan Donsol Sorsogon, will be ordained to the Order of Presbyters on January 19, 2010 at the Nuestra Señora Virgen de Regla Parish National Shrine, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.
In thanksgiving for the gift of priesthood, soon-to-be Fr. Gomez, will celebrate his first Eucharistic Celebration as a priest here in St. Joseph Parish, where the seed of his vocation was planted and initially nourished, on January 22, 2010 (Friday), 9:00 in the morning.
As a sign of our gratitude to the Giver, we, who are given with this blessing of vocation to the priesthood, have the responsibility to take care of and support that wonderful gift that God has bestowed on us here in Donsol. In thanksgiving to God, the source of all vocations, we humbly ask you and your family to be one of the sponsors of Fr. Gomez’s thanksgiving Mass on the above-said date. During the Eucharistic Celebration, you may also offer/send him gift of any kind as a sign of your support to him and his family. Furthermore, your presence is to this big celebration is very much appreciated.
